Whether you’re fitting out a new development, adding capacity to an existing building or replacing a tank that has reached the end of its life, the installation has to be right first time. Express Water Tanks supplies and installs one-piece, two-piece and sectional cold water tanks for hotels, office blocks, apartment buildings, public sector buildings and development projects, with our own in-house engineers managing every project from start to finish.

Our Water Tank Installation Services

• One-piece and two-piece tanks – quick, cost-effective tanks for smaller capacities or where access allows

• Pump sets – supply and installation of single and three-phase booster pump sets
• Valves and pipework – new inlet, outlet, overflow and isolation arrangements, including cross flow installations to improve turnover
• Access and safety – stainless steel and GRP ladders, handrails and roof edge protection

Our Installation Process

1. Survey and specification – an experienced, certified engineer assesses the location, access, supports and the building’s water demand so the tank is sized and specified correctly.
2. Quotation and RAMS – you receive a detailed quotation with a risk assessment, method statement and estimated timescale of works.
3. Temporary supply – in occupied buildings, a mains bypass or temporary tank keeps water flowing while existing tanks are removed or connected.
4. Installation – the tank is delivered and installed, internally in a plant room or loft, or externally on a roof or at ground level, with new pipework, valves, screened vents and overflows, and insulation.
5. Chlorination and handover – the new tank and pipework are chlorinated before the system goes into service.

Built to Current Standards

Every installation uses WRAS-approved tanks and is carried out in line with the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations and ACoP L8 guidance on Legionella control, with properly fitted lids, insect screens, insulation and an inlet and outlet arrangement that keeps water moving.
